Goddamn Wolves + 12 artists to get you addicted to rock n’ roll
One of the most frequent things I hear since I created this site: complaints about not being 100% rock all the time. Even though I believe that every musical genre has a bit of rock in its DNA, there comes a time when we need to return to our roots… This new list is concrete proof that rock and its aspects have never been as well represented as they are. now. Even in the underground. That’s what you’ll notice when you play bands like Goddamn Wolves, modern-day machines, The Boneheads and many more!
Formed in 2018, Raleigh band Goddamn Wolves bonded over their shared affinity for lupin sacrilege (obviously), as well as a love of melodic indie rock. Led by songwriter Chris Weilding on guitar and vocals, the trio also includes Los Angeles transplant Laura McCullough (bass/vocals), and Drew Foglia (drums/vocals). Drew also drums for Raleigh local heroes Love Udder. After spending the last year working up a set of original songs and playing a few shows at local venues, the Wolves are looking to spend 2019 playing out more and working on a new recording project.
