Kiss’ “Detroit Rock City” + 6 great covers to end 2023 on a high note
Well, this hot year of 2023 is coming to an end and we couldn’t help but publish one of our favorite lists: covers.
As you may have already noticed here on the blog, it is not enough to reproduce the original songs: it is necessary to add an authorial touch, however timid it may be, in each reinterpretation.
That’s why we start with the humorous cover of the Kiss classic, “Detroit Rock City” by Rami 411 and, of course, a very crazy version of a Christmas anthem.
Rami 411: “Detroit Rock City” by Kiss
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Rami is an American Singer, Songwriter and Producer. He started playing piano at 8 years old, turned DJ and EDM producer as a teenager, and became a singer and guitar player in 2016 when starting college. Rami creates a unique style within and around the pop, funk and dance genres, and adds to them with his guitar playing and a variety of vocal styles. Rami has performed dozens of shows throughout the U.S., and loves to connect with new fans by singing with them on the sidewalk.
